Open Doors: Prayer for Maryam and Marzieh
Maryam and Marzieh, Iranian Christians, face trial tomorrow.

We greatly appreciated your concern for Maryam and Marzieh when you took action in our advocacy campaign for them last October/November. But your help is needed again. We have just heard that Maryam and Marzieh have a court hearing set for 13 April 2010 - tomorrow. They need your prayers as a matter of urgency. It is understood that they face charges of propagating Christianity and apostasy.

For the last five months since their release, Maryam Rostampour and Marzieh Amirizadeh Esmaeilabad have been convalescing and receiving medical treatment. Both ladies are still unwell and weak but despite this, they are determined to remain faithful to the Lord and speak the truth in court whatever the cost.

Maryam and Marzieh were freed last November having been in prison for over nine months because of their faith. They are both believers from a Muslim background who were detained in the notorious Evin prison in Tehran and put under severe pressure to deny their Christian faith.

Until the news of the ladies' trial, we did not know whether the Iranian authorities had dropped the charges against them. We are greatly saddened to find out that the charges still stand.

Our two sisters in Christ urgently need you to support them in prayer. Please intercede on their behalf, that:
• They will know the presence of God and be given His words to say during their trial
• The peace of God will protect their hearts and minds
• They will be completely healed from their illnesses and be strengthened physically, mentally and spiritually
• They will be cleared of all charges against them.
We will put news on our website as soon as we receive it -

Thank you for your prayers.
