Court Case for NI SORs
|Please pray for our court case on the Northern Ireland SORs
The High Court in Belfast will consider our legal action regarding Northern Ireland's Sexual Orientation Regulations on Monday 4 June. The case is scheduled to run for three days.
The High Court will consider whether the regulations unduly interfere with religious liberty contrary to the Human Rights Act and whether the public consultation was flawed.
If successful the regulations could be declared unlawful and struck down. This could have a knock-on effect on similar regulations in Great Britain.
We believe that this judicial review is vitally important. Please pray for:
Our lawyers as they prepare for the case and for our staff as we assist them.
A fair hearing and that our arguments would succeed.
Balanced and wide-spread reporting of this case in the news media.
Yours in Christ,
The Christian Institute
