Scrabster after the harvest
Scrabster – on the north coast and in the county of Caithness is best known as being a ferry port with sailings to the Orkney Islands. It was also the
port of disembarkation when Queen Elizabeth II
- as part of her summer holiday journey to Balmoral Castle - stopped off to see her late mother who stayed in her Castle of Mey home during the summer months.
