'Rites of Passage' Concert
A concert of songs, poems and music which give expression to the significant and transitional periods of life; aimed at bringing comfort, challenge and inspiration to milestone moments in life's journey.

Paul Field and Dan Wheeler will perform tracks from their new CD ‘Rites of Passage’ as well as other songs. Paul is a professional musician and singer/songwriter who has written tracks for many famous people like Cliff Richard. He wrote the Millenium Prayer for Cliff. He has written many Christian musicals and is the leading Lecturer of Lyric Writing at Masters Degree level at Bristol University, the only such course in the world.
We are delighted to welcome him to Fort William extend a warm invitation to join in this beginning of a series of Christian concerts which will be family-orientated.

Paul Field has been a Professional Composer, Songwriter, Singer & Record Producer for almost 30 years. He has won an Ivor Novello award from The British Academy of Songwriters, a Dove award (and 2 Nominations) from GMA Nashville and several awards from ASCAP in America.
He has written and produced songs on many Gold & Platinum records for artists around the world. Cliff Richard, Avalon, Wynnona, Rebecca St. James, Jennifer Knapp, Point of Grace, Phil Keaggy, Elkie Brooks, Tammy Wynette, Jaqui Velasquez, Natalie Grant and Michael English are among those who have had hits with Paul's songs. He's also written several Musicals, Children's songs and music for Theatre, Television and Advertising.
