Write to your elected representative(s)

Letter WritingLetter

It has never been easier to contact those who are elected to represent us. E-mail is widely accessible, and - helpfully enough - has also increased the impact of a hand-written letter.

Letters should be short, to the point and polite. And its good to write to commend, as well as to express concerns.

A general principle when expressing concerns is 'P - N - P' (Positive - negative - Positive). Start and finish on a positive note.

You can access a list of MPs, MSPs and local councillors for your area by clicking on the logo below and then entering your post code.
