Auschwitz Liberation: 80th Anniversary

Geoff Barnard 1GEOFF BARNARD lives in Israel near to the 'Fountain of Tears' in Arad. He hopes to speak to us from the equivalent site which is located in Poland just outside the gates of the German Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration and Extermination Camp in Poland.

The main commemoration events of the liberation of the camp and the prisoners will be held earlier on the day. The television broadcast of the ceremony produced by the Polish Television will be available to all, providing an opportunity for collective commemoration and global reflection on the significance of past events. The streaming will be available with English translation at 3.00pm (UK Time) via the YouTube channel of the Museum itself.
