Dialoguing with Muslims

Dr. Andy Bannister speaks of how to engage and interact with those of a Muslim faith.

TalkingMUSLIMS now represent a very significant part of the population of many towns and cities in the West. Additionally Islamic culture and  traditions are being encountered and experienced in a wide variety of engagements and social interactions.

These points of contact present disciples of Jesus Christ with both opportunities to bear witness to their faith in the Son of God, and also challenges in terms of how to dialogue in a sensitive and culturally appropriate way.

Andy Bannister once found himself with an unexpected invitation to address a gathering at Speaker's Corner in London. This led him onto a path to better understand the wide variety of Muslim beliefs, ideology and cultures. In the process he acquired the ability to read the Koran/Quran in its original Arabic.
In the video below Andy gives a presentation of the main points of which Christians need to be aware; and goes on to respond to a wide variety of very interesting questions and topics for discussion and understanding.
