Pakistani girl raped and her family threatened

A Christian advocate tells the story of a young Pakistani girl who was raped by armed Muslims and her family threatened when her father went to the police.

Fouzia BibiA minor Christian girl named, Fouzia Bibi, daughter of Malooka Masih, aged 15 years, was a resident of Village Roday, District Kasur. Malooka Masih is a laborer in the fields of the landlord for last five years.
He has three daughters and four sons. Due to the poverty, his children also helped their parents in the fields to earn some more money for the family.

On 25 January 2013 at about 6:30 PM, Fouzia Bibi went to bring Milk from a nearby Haveli (A Place for cattle) of landlord, when she was coming back with handling Jug of milk, The two Muslims culprits armed with pistol, Sher Muhammad and Shabir Ali ,who are the influential persons of their area, abducted her and imprisoned her in a room and then made her unclothed and unzipped forcibly and then they raped and tortured her one by one.
There was no one who would hear the cries of minor girl while she was being raped and left her unconscious.

After coming to conscious she came to house and told her mother all about what was happened with her and also told the names of rapists.

When her father came home her mother also told him about the tragic incident which happened with their daughter Fouzia Bibi. Malooka Masih with some other Christians of the area immediately, father of Fouzia Bibi, went to police station Sarai Mughal and told that sad incident but Police Official did not bother to listen him.

After being dis-pointed from Police ,they went to Pattoki and told Rev. Saleem Gill DS Pattoki Church of Pakistan, Lahore diocese of Bishop Irfan Jamil. Rev. Gill called to Chief of LEAD ,Advocate Sardar Mushtaq Gill and told the tragedy which happened with the poor family and also requested for legal assistance in this case.

On 29 January 2013, LEAD's legal team went to Deputy Superintendent Police Pattoki and submitted the complaint against the rapists which was admitted and the FIR bearing No. 22/2013 was registered against the Culprits under section 376 PPC. Malooka Masih told that the culprits were threatening him and his other family members for dire consequences.

He added that they were threatened and warned to be made involved in criminal cases if they will further take steps against them through police and court. "They are terrified and under threats",told Ashiq Masih uncle of Fouzia Bibi."We want and demand security for our lives while we will go on work and jobs"told Mashooq Masih uncle of Fouzia Bibi."They are under fear of hurt and insecurity",told Sadiq and Sharif Masih both uncles of Fouzia Bibi."We are Christians and poor that's why such incidents happened with us. we are not safe in Pakistan and not our honor and belongings",toldSharif Masih.

Chief of LEAD, Advocate Sardar Mushtaq Gill met with family and victim girl and prayed for them. They told that they were satisfied a little bit due to involvement of LEAD in this case and specially for legal and moral support. We demand justice for this victim girl. We will not stop to cry until our voice be heard.

Advocate Sardar Mushtaq Gill and Chief of LEAD strongly condemns such rapists who make destroy the lives of poor and innocence girls, such tragedies be the cause of creation of feeling of insecurity in Pakistani Christians. We demand from Government that it should take some strong steps to eliminate such elements from society.
