Good Friday Silent Witness 2009


Silent WitnessTHE lady sat alone having a coffee in the crowded tea room in the Inverness Eastgate shopping mall. In her hand she held a copy of a Christian outreach leaflet, and read it carefully before putting it into her handback.

She sat for a time deep in thought - unaware that at the next table a local Christian sat and prayed for her.

She would have been given the leaflet whilst out in the High Street by those manning a Bible Society literature table whilst other local Christians gathered in Silent Witness around a wooden cross from 11.00am to 12 noon.
