Youth work seminars - an "integrated approach"

Integrated youth2Forward Together, an evangelical group of leaders within the Church of Scotland are hosting a series of seminars in Scotland on the subject of developing an "integrated approach" to working with young people within the Christian church.

Drawing on the experiences of leaders within Presbyterian Youth - the young organisation of the Presbyterian Church of Australia in New South Wales - the  aims are "to present to youth the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way of salvation and call them to an obedient acceptance of Christ as Saviour and Lord; help youth to mature in their understanding of the life, death, resurrection and teaching of Christ through study of the Bible, prayer and fellowship; and encourage youth to commit themselves to Him as Lord, to join the membership of the Church and devote their lives to the service of God."

Two of the events are to be held in Dingwall for church leaders and young people respectively.
The first of these is a seminar for ministers, youth workers and youth leaders on:

THURSDAY 6th Nov., 2008  in DINGWALL  in the Highland Theological College, 7.30 - 9.30 pm

This is to be followed by a Youth evening on:

FRIDAY 7 Nov., 2008 at DINGWALL Castle Street Church of Scotland at 7.30 pm
