I was nine years old when I took my first drug. I smoked Cannabis at nine. That's what got me into other drugs.....
I was suicidal. I just wanted to end everything.
The DVD News company
has produced a DVD aimed to bring hope to those who have been caught up into a life of addiction to drugs and substance misuse.
Addiction leaves many unanswered questions. From Hell to Hope gives a unique insight from three men who have been on a journey from addiction into hope.
Dave Thomas is the Director of The DVD News and comments:
"There are a lot of unsung heroes in the community. I orginally wanted to bring these people to the forefront so they could be recognised by the public. Now we're tackling serious issues within communities that need to be addressed by society nationally."
This cutting edge documentary is designed to give a roadmap for many who are stuck in all types of addiction. It reveals the reality of addiction through drugs and alcohol, which inevitably leads many to prison sentences.
The stories of those who appear on the DVD demonstrate the power of addiction and what is being done across the nation. Groups like
Hope Metro
and the
Restore Project,
both Christian based organisations, are making a significant contribution towards solving this national issue.
The Hell to Hope DVD
has a duration of 25 mins plus 85 mins of bonus footage including an exclusive interview with Bill Wilson, founder of Metro Ministries International.
It is an excellent resource for churches and Christian groups
to use in addressing the serious issues for lives, families and society arising from drug and substance misuse.
The
Hell to Hope DVD
costs £9.95 and can be purchased from:
