Andy, perhaps (and both Martin and Peter have asked) you could respond to that question. Many thanks.

Can I venture to suggest that what Andy is talking about is not representative of mainstream Christian churches, but possibly cults or sects which claim to be Christian, but actually emphasise the Old Testament more?

Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong. My understanding, and experience of mainstream churches is that they preach and teach the whole counsel of God (both Old and New Testatments), which includes God's Grace.

Ed, in the absence of a response from Andy, maybe we could open the discussion on our understanding of Grace as you had previously intended?

"I have changed the title of the thread to 'God's grace', but that is not to limit the discussion, rather just to make the thread title more meaningful."
