A brief synopsis of Youth Inclusive

Started in 2000 as an Inverness Churches Initiative to help young people Youth Inclusive is a Charitable Co Limited by Guarantee. Our Mission is to 'Inverness Churches building bridges with young people and the community'.

The Church of Scotland give a grant over three years and that enables YI to appoint staff, and set up an office base in Inverness.
In 2004 assisted by BBC Children in Need, Lloyds TSB, Scottish Community Foundation, Tullochs and Highland Council YI started work in Hilton by going out and meeting young people on the streets, offering a Friday drop in service and developing a range of outdoor and art activities over school holidays.
YI is also involved in the IRA secondary school. We aim to help young people make life choices by improving their self esteem and confidence building.

We are now in addition to continuing in Hilton starting to operate in the Crown Area with funding from the Lottery, local churches and the above Trust Funds.
