Aberdeen City Mission wins top award
Aberdeen City Mission emerged as one of only three Scottish winners of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service - the equivalent of an MBE.
The Christian charity based in John Street has 70 volunteers, supporting people from a variety of backgrounds.
Their aim is to bring help and hope to people living in poverty and those who find themselves in crisis.

Congratulations to Adrian and the team! I met Adrian when he visited Edinburgh City Mission (ECM)several years ago and had discussions with him about ECM's work and in particular about Crossline, the Christian Helpline and Counselling Ministry.it is great to see Adrian and the volunteers gaining recognition and raising the profile of work done in the Lord's name.God Bless, Helen Moss
