Christian artiste making return visit to Caithness

Following a series of events last year, the Caithness churches festival committee has invited pop singer BeBe Vox is to perform at two free concerts in Wick and Thurso churches.

Christian pop singer BeBe Vox will make a return visit to Caithness schools during the last week in March 2012, and will perform two free concerts in Thurso and Wick at the end of that week.

Speaking on behalf of the Caithness Churches Festival Committee which was established at the time of the Luis Palua 'Highland Harvest' in ..... , organiser Kenny Cormack enthuses:

Last September BeBe took Caithness by storm when over 900 people turned out to her concerts after a week of performing at assemblies in Caithness primary schools. As there was such a fantastic response, she has agreed to return to Caithness and perform at Thurso and Wick high school Easter assemblies. She will also speak at primary school assemblies where she performed previously.

On Thursday, 29 March, she is scheduled to perform her all new concert set in St Peter’s and St Andrew’s Church, Thurso, and on Friday, 30 March, in Pulteneytown parish Church, Wick. Both of the concerts kick off at 7:00pm and are free to all who would wish to come.

The Innervation Trust performer BeBe Vox says,

“I’m really looking forward to travelling to the ends of the earth again to visit some more Caithness schools. It’s so rewarding to see the kids’ reactions and to know that I’m representing Christianity in a way that is relevant to them.”

She has performed in hundreds of schools up and down the UK and also released three singles – one of which reached No. 26 in the Radio 1 dance chart; and No. 6 in the Music Week dance chart. Her commitment to sharing her faith combines perfectly with her infectious electro pop music to reach her audience with the message of Christ.

The week’s events have been organised by various churches from different denominations across the county which promote youth work in the area. It is the latest in a number of joint ventures since the Luis Palau Highland Festival back in 2009.
