Mark Greene, 007 and Inverness
Mark Greene, the Executive Director of London Institute of Contemporary Christianity, Mark Greene is due to visit Inverness this November for a series of talks. Mark is an excellent communicator with a passion for workplace evangelism.

 Inverness-based Alive Ministry is pleased to announce a visit to the Highlands of Mark Greene, Executive Director of the London Institute of Contemporary Institute (LICC), for a series of talks.
During his visit, Mark will be speaking at the Highland Theological College in Dingwall
He is also scheduled to speak at both an open event in Inverness, and a business breakfast.

Mark will be speaking about his latest book, ‘The Great Divide: the greatest challenge to the Church today and what we can do about it.’In this book, Mark explores the stifling, pervasive, life-denying impact of the sacred-secular divide on Christian mission and living, and reveals how overcoming it can expand our vision, inspire our mission, release our churches, broaden our minds, enlarge our hearts, nourish our souls, thrill our spirits, and free our imaginations for faithful following and fruitful living in all of life.  Mark Greene: Underpinning his commitment to seeing God's people equipped and envisioned for ministry, mission and maturity in the workplace lies a broader commitment to seeing God's people envisioned and supported for whatever context they find themselves in whole-life discipleship. It was this conviction that fuelled the ground-breaking essay 'Imagine how we can reach the UK', and the project that grew out of it.
Mark has produced a number of workplace resources, notably Thank God it's Monday and the widely distributed Supporting Christians at Work - Without Going Insane.
In addition, he has developed Christian Life and Work, a 6-part small group DVD resource, and edited Pocket Prayers for Work. He is also the writer and presenter of the Imagine DVD and, with Tracy Cotterell, the editor of Let my People Grow - a collection of essays on whole-life disciple-making. Most recently he edited and contributed sections to Trevor Cooling's LICC resource Supporting Christians in Education.
Mark's latest book, The Best Idea in the World (Zondervan 2009), explores how putting relationships first in our thinking and living is a liberating basis for our personal lives, society and global community.
Mark has served as Chairman of Jews for Jesus (UK and Europe) and has acted as a consultant for a number of organisations including The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Tearfund. Mark is married to Katriina and they have three exuberant teenagers – Matt, Tomas & Anna-Marie – and an even more exuberant dog called Spark. Mark does quite a reasonable impression of Rowan Atkinson and an unrecognisable one of Sean Connery. He wishes it were the other way round: so does his wife.
