PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Inverness-based Alive Ministry is hosting a worship evening in the Highlands in what will be the only Scottish date in a UK Tour.
As part of the 'In the Round' UK Tour and in conjunction with Kingway Music, three very well know worship leaders – Ben Cantelon, Cathy Burton and Nick Herbert – will be performing together live with a full worship band in what is sure to be a very special evening of worship.
David Maclean , of Alive Ministry is delighted to secure this event and comments :
"Our continued vision for Alive Ministry is to have events where all ages and all congregations can come together in a celebration of our faith and to enjoy a time of worship and fellowship together. This is a fabulous opportunity for us to partner with Kingsway in this way and to have worship events like this happening right here in Inverness."
Speaking of the possibility of future events on this nature David continued:
"It is hoped that if this type of event is well supported then we could host more of these in the future with the other Kingsway artists, which is really exciting. This is the only Scottish date in this tour, so its a real privilege for them to come to Inverness. I would really encourage people to come along to support this event, and enjoy a time of fellowship together."

Ben Cantelon burst onto the Christian music scene 4 years ago, and has since travelled across the world appearing at conferences and festivals. As well as having success with his own albums, he co-wrote one of the loudest anthems of the last couple of years; 'Happy Day' with Tim Hughes. Ben is now Worship Director at Soul Survivor, a role he fills with trademark creativity and humility.
Cathy Burton has a voice of emotional resonance and tender fragility; a songwriter, performer, music scholar and teacher. She's played all over Europe in venues such as Brixton Academy, Shepherds Bush Empire, Manchester Apollo and Hilton Church Inverness during this years Alive Festival!
Nick Herbert, who is worship leader at St Marys, Bryanston Square in London, has led worship at Spring Harvest and New Wine conferences in the UK. His songs, which are full of biblical theology, have encouraged a generation of worshippers. |
