Dear Friends The dinner is booked to take place on Tuesday NEXT WEEK, and so far the response from congregations has been really poor. I'm sure our minds have been diverted by the Scottish Election during the last few weeks, but that's over so can I ask you to consider the dinner again. Yesterday, we in our Inverness congregation witnessed our Korean brothers and sisters who showed us just how obviously delighted they are that God gave to our Scottish forefathers, the Holy Bible; the same Holy Bible that was taken to Korea within only the last 200 years by the heroic Scottish Bible Society missionaries. If any of you are involved in organising Christian social events, I know you will have experienced the concern I am experiencing right now, and how disappointed I am, that I am having to remind you about a celebration dinner that we (the Action Group) thought Christians would be flocking to come to, a) to celebrate the King James Bible, and b) for biblefresh, to raise the funding for the translation into Burkina Faso, and for The People's Bible. Most of the £20 ticket price is for a good quality dinner from a 2 Rosettes restaurant, and the balance is a donation for the above. Please can I again ask you to come, and bring your friends who may even be in other congregations. What a good opportunity this dinner will be for us to have another biblefresh experience, described at Hebrews 10 verse 23.
