450th Anniversary Reformation Meetings
Adding to the list of 'Reformation' meetings being held to mark the 450th Anniversary of the events in Scotland in 1560, two special meetings are being held in Inverness.
Two events are being held in the East Church, Inverness to celebrate the 450th anniversary of the Scottish Reformation.
The event details are as follows:
Afternoon Conference
on Saturday, 27 November, 2010 in East Church, Inverness from 2.00 - 5.00pm
Programme:
2.00 - 3.15pm ‘The Scottish Reformation – The Story’ Rev. Dr. Nick Needham 2.00 - 3.15pm
3.15 - 3.45pm Coffee Break
3.45 - 5.00pm 'The Scottish Reformation - The Achievements' Rev. Professor A.T.B. McGowan

The Church of Scotland Presbytery of Inverness is holding a special service. Various members of the Presbytery will be taking part in the service and the sermon will be preached by Professor McGowan.

The Church of Scotland Presbytery of Lewis is holding a special service commemorating the 450th Anniversary of the Scottish Refoermation. At that service Presbytery will admit to the office of Reader Donald Macleod and Iain Macmillan, both of whom studied at HTC by distance learning.
The service will be held in Stornoway High Church on Tuesday 23 November at 7.30 p..m.
