2-Day Christian Music Festival on Skye

Churches on Skye have got together to organise a 2-day Christian Music Festival with bands from Britain and America and a series of related activities over the period.

The organisers of the Refresh event write:

We're planning two great days of awesome sounds and top notch events.

FRIDAY - will be a day when the bands from all across Scotland and America call in to places all around the Portree area. In the evening an 'UN-PLUGGED' set at Skye Bible Church will get things ready for....

SATURDAY - splits into two sections and centres around the big stage at the Venue:
2pm to 5pm sees an afternoon of bands, acts, fun and a whole lot more. Outside in the auditorium you'll be able to grab some barbecue and drinks, purchase CDs, books and get to know what God's doing across the nation.
7pm - 10.30pm continues with our awesome line-up of bands performing some of the most vibrant and passionate music around.

And it doesn't end there Sunday (time to be arranged) sees one big celebration open to everyone who wants to meet God and have a good time!
