Journey of Faith
Prayer for Revival and Proclamation of God's Word.
This venture is to set out from Lewis on Day 1 (Sunday 1 June 2008) going on to Skye (June 2), Inverness (June 3), John O Groats (June 4) and Orkney (June 5).
Day 6 is in Aberdeen, with the last day in London (11 July).
Dear FriendsWe are asking for your Church/Christian organisation endorse, pray, support and possibly take part in the 'Journey of the Christian Faith' that takes place in the UK and your region in June/July 2008.Please pray that the Holy Spirit will be poured out on this Nation and that people will come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Pray that there will be a 'revival' in your Region and the Nation. This Nation has seen Christian Revivals in the past and this is why we are starting the 'Journey' in the Isle of Lewis, Scotland where a Christian Revival took place in 1949 led by Duncan Campbell. Revivals normally take place in one region and then spread to other regions. The Holy Spirit moves wherever He pleases and responds to people humbling themselves before Jesus Christ and crying out for mercy and forgiveness. 2 Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.As individuals, Christian Unions, churches, cathedrals may we open up our homes and buildings every day praying for revival and with preparation to nurturing those who come to Christ. The first location of the 'Journey of the Christian Faith' takes place in the Centre of Stornoway on 1 June and ending in London on July 11.Please let churches, Christian organisations, Christian individuals, local & national media, local MP's know about this event in your area and across the UK.http://www.journeyofthechristianfaith.org.ukMany blessingsColin & Madeleine WindsorJourney of the Christian Faith(Mission in Hounslow Trust)

This Nation has seen wonderful sovereign movements of the Holy Spirit in the past and the 'Journey' will be commencing soon in the Isle of Lewis, Scotland where a Christian Revival took place in 1949 led by Duncan Campbell. Revivals often take place in one region and then spread to other regions.
The Holy Spirit moves wherever He pleases and He responds to people who humble themselves before Jesus Christ and cry out for mercy and forgiveness. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Joel 2:24 'I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on your servants, both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit in those days'.
'Journey of the Christian Faith' will be visiting forty City Centres in June/July 2008. The 'Ten Commandments' will be pinned up in each location as a proclamation, alongside handing out the below leaflet with the scripture John 3:16 God so loved the World.
Please consider pinning up the 'Ten Commandments' and sharing about the Grace and Love of Jesus Christ in your local city/town centre as we pass through your region.
Remember that those people who make a form of confession of faith or commitment need to be continually nurtured within the 'Body of Christ' so they may not fall away but grow into Spiritual maturity.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will be poured out on this Nation and that people will come under the conviction of sin and to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Pray that there will be a 'revival' in this Nation.

I think this is a wonderful venture and I thank God for people who are willing to act with such conviction and courage to take God's message to our nation.
I am personally not able to support you with my presence but I will certainly be supporting you through prayer.
We all need to raise our levels of faith and believe in our hearts that God can move again as He has in the past if we will only take Him at His word.
God bless all those who are part of this exciting outreach.

'Journey of the Christian Faith' team revisits Scotland
Colin & Madeline Windsor, from London, returned to Scotland during April/May this year after their original 'Journey' in the summer of 2008.
An opportunity was given for the couple to share about 'Christian Revival' in Scotland commencing with Revival FM Cumbernauld, Gospel4Grampian Aberdeen, Cuillin FM Portree and Isles FM Stornoway.
A total of eight hours 'on air' was given to encourage radio listeners to turn to prayer, to cry out for 'revival' and to ask He the Holy Spirit to move in a sovereign way within our localities and beyond, just as He has ministered so many times in Scotland, for example in Lewis, Skye, Kilsyth, Wick and many other places.
Colin & Madeleine have been blessed & encouraged by the rich Christian heritage and current Christian presence across Scotland and would be pleased to come back to Scotland soon, on invitation, to pray & share with churches & ministries as to revival.
Details are profiled on the Evangelical Alliance Notice Board below www.eauk.org/anb/prayer.cfm

Update as to praying for revival in the Stornoway Town Hall September 2012
We were interviewed by Hector Cormack (Cuillin FM) for a two hour afternoon 'Inspirational' programme, Sunday 23 September. After the programme Hector very kindly took us around the Isle of Skye, especially for the benefit of our friend Alec who had not been to that part of Scotland since 1954, and then we enjoyed a meal together at the AROS Centre, Portree. During the morning we gave out Christian literature, including Alec's book on the 1949 Lewis Revival.
Rob Rowe, founder of Gospel4Grampian Radio in Aberdeen, was keen to keep folk know about our 'ministry trip' and we undertook a telephone interview in a prayer programme on Friday 28 September.
We prayed each evening from 6 pm to mid-night, Monday to Friday, at the Stornoway Town Hall. Only one gentleman joined us and he was from Lewis and his mother has been praying for revival for many years. Nevertheless, even though people did not come along from 'village and hamlet' we significantly lifted up the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, He was greatly Glorified.
During our stay in Stornoway we met people on the streets, many of those were Godly people, and we gave out Christian literature. Christian literature was also given out to every home in Lochmaddy, North Uist & parts of the Isle of Berneray & Harris.
From Lewis we travelled to the Isle of Berneray & North Uist, then Portree and then back home. The opportunity to visit several folk that were in the 1949 Lewis revival was a great encouragement to us.
We are now back praying for revival in central London and await upon our Lord for direction and of course for REVIVAL. In our revival prayers yesterday our Lord directed us to Daniel, chapter 9 & 10.
Praying for Revival in the Outer Hebrides, September 2012
One night, while we were praying in the Stornoway Town Hall, the Lord started to shake the balcony, my chair started to shake as I sat. The whole balcony started to move, the balcony was shaking so much that it was hard to walk as I prayed.
Later that night I (Madeleine) had a dream. I saw the balcony where we were sitting in the Town Hall, in front of us where we had been sitting were stairs descending to another part of the balcony. I then saw Jesus standing there in white with the word ‘revival’ on the hem of His robe. I then saw a shape like a person walking through Jesus as if He was not there, the shape passed through and then crumbled behind Jesus.
One afternoon we went to see a couple, one of whom had been touched by the Lord in the 1949 Lewis revival and his wife who had come to the Lord some time later. Before we left we had a prayer. I held the man’s hand and the Holy Spirit surged through me.
That night as I lay in bed, the Lord’s presence filled the room. I then had a vision. I looked towards the drawn curtains and saw a ‘golden crown’ which moved three times. I then had a saw a wooden chair with arms, a ‘golden crown’ resting on the chair. A long table was in front of the chair with a white linen cloth. The Lord stayed for a while and then left.
We prayed for the Lord to show us what this meant: the ‘golden crown’ moving three times is the Holy Trinity. The Lord then led us to Song of Songs 2:4, ‘Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let His banner over me be love.’ Jesus is our ‘Banner of Love’. We must not give into sin, sometimes we will be weary, we must keep on with our prayers for revival. The Church belongs to Jesus, She can go astray but Jesus will bring Her unto Him, we are in a spiritual battle.
The Lord then showed us again Songs of Songs 3:11, ‘come out, and look, you daughters of Zion. Look on King Solomon wearing a crown, the crown with which his mother crowned him on the day of his wedding, the day his heart rejoiced.’ The Lord then showed us the Book of Revelation 19:6-9 ‘Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him Glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.’ This fine linen represents ‘the righteous acts of the Saints.’
Jesus will come again, Jesus is Victorious, keep Faith, Jesus will bring restoration.
Keep praying for revival all you Saints.
