Change of name for Ghobe Ministries

God's Healing of Broken Emotions (GHOBE) Ministries has developed the work over the years and the group is now taking on a new name. It will now operate as the Mishkan Resource Centre from the base in Inverness.

Dear Friends

We write to you with very exciting news from the Board of GHOBE Ministries. As we value your support, we wanted you to know about big changes that are happening at the moment.

Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, God has brought to fruition the long-term vision for a Christian resource centre. This was a vision that was given back in 1991 complete with name which is MISHKAN RESOURCE CENTRE (MISHKAN meaning Tent of the Meeting – Exodus 33).

This will mean that GHOBE ministries will now be called MISHKAN RESOURCE CENTRE. Our application to change the name has been accepted by the Charities Commission and we will continue the work as from 21st May 2011 (AGM) as MISHKAN RESOURCE CENTRE.

The Board envisages a number of opportunities opening up for Christian service and we look forward to fulfilling its potential in the community

The feeling is that an ongoing programme will be developed to nurture, equip and encourage Christians possibly through workshops, seminars, conferences etc.

These are indeed exciting times as we step out in obedience to see what the Lord has in store for us. Change is never easy so please pray for the Board of MISHKAN RESOURCE CENTRE and we look forward to updating you again soon.

Yours in Christ’s service,

Sheila Cardwell
